We have released several titles in documentary filmmaking.
In 2013, La Gaveta Producciones premiered the feature film Cubillo, historia de un crimen de Estado, an original idea by Eduardo Cubillo, who served as both director and executive producer. The film debuted in Latin America at the Argentina Political Film Festival and in Europe at the prestigious Málaga Film Festival, receiving high praise from critics.
In 2015, we ventured into fiction with the short film Into the War, a production created for the For The Fallen Film Festival competition. This World War I-themed short film was produced in just one week and won the Golden Puppy Award for Best Director in London, along with eight nominations.
In 2017, we premiered our second feature documentary, an original idea by Jonathan Cabrera and directed by Eduardo Cubillo. Isleños, A Root of America became our most awarded film, receiving Jury Prize at the India Film Festival, participating in 20 official international selections, and winning six international film festivals, including:
