Eduardo Cubillo
Director
With over a decade in the audiovisual industry, Eduardo Cubillo has built a solid career in the world of documentary filmmaking and advertising. His work as a director and screenwriter has brought to life feature films recognized at international festivals, while also directing campaigns for prestigious brands such as Huawei, Hewlett Packard, Endesa, Santa Lucía, Cintra, Indra, and BBVA.
Currently, he directs La Gaveta Producciones, a company dedicated to the creation of audiovisual works across all genres, exploring visual narratives that combine art, emotion, and reality.
Career and Awards
2013 – Cubillo, historia de un crimen de Estado
It is the debut film of Eduardo Cubillo, premiered at the Málaga Film Festival 2013 and the Argentina Political Film Festival (FICIP) 2013. The film tells the story of the assassination attempt on Antonio Cubillo by the Spanish and German secret services.

2017 – Isleños, A Root of America
Isleños, A Root of America is his second feature film. Filmed in Louisiana in co-production with TVE, it was the winner of the Hollywood Independent Film Festival.
