SIN ARMARIOS
DOCUMENTAL
SYNOPSIS
Un Hogar sin Armarios takes us into the almost impossible dream of creating the world’s first public LGBTQI senior care home in Madrid.
Through the testimonies of future residents, we will learn about the reality of this community as they enter their senior years, their rejection and fear of regressing in who they are and what they have achieved, both as individuals and as a community. We will follow, alongside its protagonists, the extraordinary journey that reveals a generation that went from prisons, concealment, and shame to making Spain and Madrid global leaders in equality and respect.
A dramedy with strong, impactful characters—sometimes eccentric, sometimes revolutionary, but always fascinating—whose stories will make us laugh, cry, and reflect on life and society as the LGBTQI senior care home project in Villaverde takes shape.
