One day, the tarot cards bring them together and reveal the inevitability of their cosmic love. Swept away like by a whirlwind, they marry, and Esteban moves into Madame Maulennare’s house, surrounded by lace, cats, crystal balls, and meetings of mediums and spiritualists.
