La Gaveta Producciones is a 10 years of experience company specialized in film productions, advertising, corporate videos and production services in Tenerife and resto of Canary Islands.
We have two clear areas of work. The production service for productions that want to shoot in the Canary Islands and audiovisual production of all types of content.
As a production services company in Tenerife, we have the necessary experience to provide projects with everything they need: locations in Tenerife or the rest of the Canary Islands, casting management in Tenerife or the rest of the Canary Islands, filming permits in Tenerife or the rest of the Canary Islands, catering for advertising or cinema in Tenerife and the rest of the Canary Islands, production services in Tenerife or the rest of the Canary Islands, as well as rental of technical equipment for filming.
We carry out audiovisual works for large companies such as Hewlett-Packard, BBVA, Huawei, Endesa, Fundación Universidad-Empresa, Cintra, Indra, as well as for all types of companies.
Between 2010 and 2013, La Gaveta produces the feature film Cubillo, historia de un crimen de Estado (Cubillo, the History of a State Crime), a documentary that immerses us in an episode of the Cold War dealing with the assassination attempt of Antonio Cubillo by the Spanish, German and Us Secret Services. The film was released at the Malaga Film Festival, where obtained great assessment. It’s considered as one of the best 2013 films by certain specialised publications.
In 2015 La Gaveta produces Into the War, awarded with the Golden Puppy Award for the Best Director in London.
From 2015 to 2017, it produces another feature film, Isleños, a Root of America. This documentary is shot in Louisiana and deals with the story of the Canary Islanders who emigrated to the South of the US in the XVIII c. and their later settlement in this unique location, St Bernard Parish in the Mississippi Delta. This film has been awarded as Best Documentary in four international film festivals until now, as it continues its festivals circuit.
Today, La Gaveta produces and manages the projects LOLAS and Hardcore. Breakbeating the World along with the director Eduardo Cubillo.
