Cubillo: The Story of a State Crime

This feature film unveils a plot of international intrigue involving governments and secret services of Spain, Germany, Algeria and the United States, in the context of the Cold War, African decolonisation and the Spanish Transition. The plot is based on the political life of Antonio Cubillo Ferreira, founder and leader of the MPAIAC (Movement for Self-Determination and Independence of the Canary Islands) and the events and circumstances that will result in the attack on his life on April 5, 1978 in Algiers.
